Keep Boone's Live Music Loud

Fashion rocks, and so does live music. That's where we get our band tees, hang out with our friends and come together to enjoy yet another awesome part of Boone's community.

In an effort to keep the music loud(er), proud and in our community, when you see one of these petitions:

Sign it! Check into Boone Saloon and 641 rpm this week to sign.

An Interview from The Appalachian

I was thrilled to be interviewed by The Appalachian for an article about student bloggers. Thank you so much to Casey Suglia who wrote the article and Olivia Wilkes for the gorgeous pictures. Read the full interview here (and pick up a print copy on campus)!

Rose Gold, Zippers, and a Pyramid

My "something shiny" syndrome kicked in today and I wanted to share some of my jewelry with you.

This bracelet hasn't left my wrist since I found it at a final sale at Nordstrom. The rose-gold is beautiful.
 Zipper earrings!

Wooden jewelry (like this one from Lucky Penny) adds unexpected texture to a look.

Jewelry of any size, shine and shape adds dimension and texture to an outfit. I know it's winter and we lend ourselves to hibernating our style (sweats, let's be real). But c'mon - you know something shiny is going to lift your winter blues. Embrace the shiny! Dooo iiitt!!
